(AP) A former state trooper accused of killing his wife and two children was grilled about inconsistencies between his testimony and statements to police on his final day on the stand.

Appearing tired and gaunt, David Camm, 37, spoke Monday in a flat and emotionless voice that his attorney, Mike McDaniel, said was due to migraine medication he was taking. Camm is charged with the murder of his wife, Kimberly, 35, and their children, Bradley, 7, and Jill, 5. He was an Indiana state trooper for 10 years, but quit the force four months before the killings. During cross-examination on his third and final day on the stand, Floyd County Prosecutor Stan Faith grilled Camm about how his daughter's blood got on the T-shirt he wore the night he said he found their bodies. "The obvious question's there: How'd you get the blood on Faith pressed.

"If you didn't touch Jill at all, there's no way to account for her blood on you, is there?" The blood evidence found on Camm's clothing particularly drops of Jill's blood have been at the crux of the prosecution's case. Camm said he returned home from playing pickup basketball at his church on Sept. 28, 2000, and found his wife's body on the garage floor of the family's Georgetown home. He said he found the children in the back seat of their mother's Bronco, and told police he never touched Jill's body. But he testified Monday that he may have checked his daughter's pulse, and said her blood could have splattered onto him when her body shifted as he knelt on the car seat next to her to retrieve Bradley's body.
