Theodore was bom on Feb. 13. 1959 to Lowel and Roberta Alexander in Anderson. He is survrved by his daughter. Shayna Carpenter of Elwood; a son, Curtis Gross of Elwood; Ave gandchUren; a brother.

With ther help and support John finally but on his dream of being an art teacher. He performed many times at the annual Tipton County Pork Festival which he toved to do whfle offering free advice on how to paint through his demonstrations.

He once took an hour out of Johnny Cash's time when he presented him with a portrait The portrait was of Cash dressed in white, based on the singer's "man in white writings. He had also met with and considered himself a friend of country star, Lee Greenwood. He presented Greenwood with a pencil drawing of Miss America and a poem he had written, "My Idea of America." For those kicky enough to have met with John, their lives will forever be touched with the spirit of goodwill and the knowing that following your dreams and honest hard work wiH get you everywhere you want to go in life. While sitting in the hospital those last few hours, it was amazing how many nurses and doctors would come in to check on John and see how he was doing. Most of the comments were that he was a gentle and interesting man who could not say enough about his art and his granddaughter, Sara who at 13 is already showing great promise to be one of the best as stated, by the great artist himseff.

A memorial for John is being planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011 at Marion National Cemetery VAMC, 1700 E. 38th St. in Marion.

John was bom Dec 29, 1938.

He was a veteran of three tours with the U.S. Navy. John is survived by his two sons, John Robert Pore Jr. and Robert Nicholas Pore; his older sister, Beverly Wagoner of Rochester; and brothers, Frank Pore of Tipton and Richard Pore of Elwood and a brother-in-law, Robert Sheehan. John is also survived by his five grandchildren, Robert Nicholas Pore Second Lt in the U.S.

Air Force, Jonathan Michael Pore of Massachusetts Prima Lai of New York, Sara Pore of New York and Ashley Lu of Gaithersburg, Md. He is also survived by longtime companion, Peggy Smith. He was preceded in death by his youngest brother, James W. Pore. John wore many hats in his lifetime, from his three tours in the Navy, to his fire fighting days with his brothers, Frank and James with the Tipton Fire Department; to his 19-year career with freewtv.com (once known as Tipton's Hometown Television Channel 19) where the artist would teach the world to paint.

He had run with the bulls in Spain, as well as dug for his own gold in Colorado. When asked Doris C. Dague ELWOOD Doris C. Dague, 86. Elwood, died Dec 15.

2011 at St Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood after a brief iness. She was bom Feb. 28, 1925 in Efwood, the daughter of Lee A and Martha (Stage) McGuire. Doris married Morris E. Dague on June 25, 1946.

He preceded her in death on April 22, 1979. She was a homernaker most of her life and formerty worked at Fettjg's Canning Factory in Elwood. She formerty attended the First Missionary Baptist Betty I. Cloud ELWOOD Betty I. Cloud, 82, Elwood, passed away on Friday, Dec.

16, 2011 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness. Betty was bom on July 25, 1929, to Theodore and Opal (Dupree) Smith in Jennings County. She loved spending time with her family, playing bingo and watching game shows on television.
