and Catherine Westerkamp Rust. He married Toula Petrakis. He retired from R.G.F. in Elwood in 1979. He was a member of the Zion Chapel.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Jimmie Rust of Indianapolis; two granddaughters; and one sister, Catherine Tucker of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dunnichay Funeral Home. The Rev.

HEATON Dorothy. E. Heaton, 79, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Elwood, died Thursday at St. Vincent Hospital in. Indianapolis.

Born March 11, 1914 in Elwood, she was the daughter of Walter and Faye Kinzer Layton. She married Forrest R. "Dick" Heaton. He died June 15, 1978. She was a member of the St.

John Lutheran Church in Elwood, Kappa Delta Phi sorority and the Garden club. Survivors include two sons, Richard K. Heaton and Phillip L. Heaton, both of Elwood; one daughter, Susan Messersmith of Avon; one brother, Elmer Max Layton of. Allegan, seven grandchildren; and two great -grandchildren.

Barnes, 61, 2718 N. Anderson, died Friday at St. John's Medical Center in Anderson. He was born April 13, 1921, in Elwood, and lived in Anderson most of his life. He retired from Delco Remy in 1982 after 30 years of employment.

He was a member of the West Cross Street Alliance, Church, UAW Local 662, American Legion and served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Dorothy "Dottie" Brown Barnes of Anderson; two daughters, Debby Wagner of Mechanicsburg and Darlene Nance of Anderson; two sons, Danny Barnes of Dalton, and David Barnes of Anderson; two sisters, Helen Hedges and Naomi McDaniel, both of Anderson; three brothers, Bill Barnes of Elwood, Carl Barnes of Curtisville and David Lewark of Anderson; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
