He was an independent grocer from 1960-76; distributor with Car Brite from 1983-94; co-owner of Michigan Cheese, 1976-83; and a Hamilton County commissioner from 19976-88. He was a member of the Noblesville Masonic Lodge and a deacon of Refuge Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis M. Lewis Roudebush; one daughter, Sheree Beaslesy of Indianapolis; two sons, J. R.

Roudebush of Cicero and Dennis Roudebush of Fortville; two sisters, Jane Actttns and Janice Provence, both of Noblesville; two brothers, Joe Roudebush of Noblesville and Jack Roudebush of Arcadia; one aunt, Emma Jane Haskett of Carmel; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at the Randall and Roberts Logan Street Chapel in Noblesville. The Rev. Stanley Sutton officiated. Burial was in the Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Refuge Christian Church. GEORGE W. ZEHRUNG SRV George W. Zehrung 82, Muncie, died Friday at Ball Memorial Hospital. He retired in 1966 from Delco Remy Division after 26 years employment.

He was past governor of the Anderson Moose Lodge and a member of United Auto Workers Local 662 in Anderson. Survivors include his wife, Helen Zehrung; two sons, George Zehrung Jr. of Pinellas Park, and Jimmy Zehrung of Muncie; three daughters, Marilyn Dickey of Alexandria, Judy Cumberland of LaJoJIa, Calif.and Carolyn Farmer of Winchester; one brother, Robert D. Zehrung; two sisters, Ruth Boltin of Anderson and Margaret Nordyke of Florida; 17 grandchildren; and 2 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at the Thomas, Rich, Hewitt and Chaney Funeral Home in Bluffton.

The Rev. Joseph Fralick officiated. Burial was in the Six Mile Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund. MARY F.

WORKMAN Mary F. Workman, 79, formerly of Rt. 1, Alexandria, died Saturday at her home in Bloomington. She was born April 18, 1914 in Alexandria, the daughter of John Fairle and Nora Hupp Swindell. She resided in Alexandria most of at the St.

John Lutheran Church. Pastor Paulette Stahlke officiated. Burial was in the Elwood City Cemetery. The Copher and Fesler Funeral Home handled arrangements. SANDRA F.

BUTLER Sandra F. Butler, 44, 2724 Chippewa, Anderson, died Sunday at her home. Born January 7, 1949 in Elwood, she was the daughter of Gerald E. and Joan McGill Frazee. She was employed at Delco Remy in Plant 1 7, where she was employed for 21 years.

Survivors include her mother of Elwood; one son, Shane Butler of Anderson; two daughters, Stacie Butler of Anderson and Michelle Fetty of Fort Wayne; one brother, Samuel Frazee of Elwood; one Jodee Fulton of Elwood; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at rt a.m Wednesday at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Arthur will officiate. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral ROBERT BARNES Robert L. Barnes, 61, 2718 N. Anderson, died Friday at St. John's Medical Center in Anderson.

He was born April 13, 1921,. in Elwood. and lived in Anderson most of his life. He retired from Delco Remy in 1982 after 30 years of employment. He was a member of the West Cross Street Alliance, Church, UAW Local 662, American Legion and served in the U.S.

Army in the Korean War. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Dorothy "Ddttie Brown Barnes of Anderson; two daughters, Debby Wagner of Mechanicsburg and Darlene Nance of Anderson; two sons, Danny Barnes ofDalton, and David Barnes of Anderson; two sisters, Helen Hedges and Naomi McDaniel, both of Anderson; three brothers, Bill Barnes of Elwood, Carl Barnes of Curtisville and David Lewark of Anderson; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held today at the Brown- Butz- Diedring Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel Westlung Burial was in theOaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assocaition or Lung Association. JERE D. ROUDEBUSH Jere D. Roudebush, 55, Noblesville, died Friday at Riverview her life, moving to Bloomington in. 1988.

She had owned ahd'pperated the Dari-Delite Drive-In in Alexandria for several years. She was a member of the Christian Congregation Church in Alexandria and was a past president of the Ladies Aide of the church. She had been instrumental in the formation of the 4-H Fair Food Tent project. She was also a member of the UAW Retirees club, the U.A.W. Retirees Hobby and Craft club, a past president of the East Side Home Demonstration club and was active in the Monroe Township 4-H.

She was the first recipient of the Alumni Achievement Award for 4-H adults. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jo Fish of Bloomington; three granddaughters; six nieces; end two nephews. Her husband of 54 yearsJoseph E. Workman, preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1990.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Alben, Arthur and Howard Swindell, Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. John The Apostle Catholic Church in Bloominqton. Friends may call at the Deremaih-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

Friends may also call at the Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria after noon Wednesday. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Park View Cemetery in Alexandria. Beigh, 82, 1614 S. Harrison Alexandria, died Sunday at Community Hospital in Anderson. She retired in 1978 as bookkeeper at Citizens Banking Company. Survivors include one nephew, Jack Beigh of Alexandria; and three nieces, Nancy Delinger and Sally Fuller, both of Alexandria; and Pat Wardrip of Crown Point. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.

Wednesday at the Noffze Funeral Home, 501 N. Harrison Alexandria. The Rev. Cliff Richardson will, officiate. Burial will be in View Censtetery in Alexandria.

She has been class secretary her sophomore, junior and seniors years, and a member of the Steering committee, Student Council, National Honor Society, Latin club.

died Saturday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born March 20, 1917 in Loveland, Ohio, he was the son of Eugene F. and Catherine Westerkamp Rust. He married Toula Petrakis. He retired from R.G.F.

in Elwood in 1979. He was a member of the Zion Chapel. Survivors include his wife; one son, Jimmie Rust of Indianapolis; two granddaughters; and orte sister, Catherine Tucker of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded! death by his parents. Funeral services will be at 1 1 a.m.

DOROTHY HEATON Dorothy E. Heaton, 79, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Elwood, died Thursday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born March 11, 1914 in Elwood, she was the daughter of Walter and Faye Kinzer Layton. She married Forrest R.

"Dick" Heaton. He died June 15, 1978. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Elwood, Kappa Delta Phi sorority and the Garden club. Survivors include two sons, Richard K.

Heaton and Phillip L. Heaton, both of Elwood; one daughter, Susan Messersmith of Avon; one brother, Elmer Max Layton of- Allegan, seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He participated in band two years, is National Honor Society president, received academic awards, industrial art awards, attendance awards, the I Dare You award, and is a math tutor.
