TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 1970 CALL-LEADER THE Area Scene Liberty Bells 4-H Club Has Meeting Recently RIGDON Liberty Bells Sr. 4-H club met at the Liberty Township School. Janie Gross led the 4H pledge and the pledge of allegiance was led by Susan Heater. Paul Fox gave the devotions, and Brenda Haisley led the group singing. Debbie Carter presented the Health and Safety lesson.

Installation of officers was held. Kendra Manwell was in charge of the recreational period. During the social hour following the business meeting refreshments were served by the hostesses Rhonda and Debbie Carter to sixteen members attending. Mrs. Goldle R. Tutorow, 77. 504 East Mill street, died early this morning at the Turtle Creek Convalescent center in Anderson after a five week illness. She has resided in Summitville most of her life.

She was the widow of Everett. Tutorow and was born in Old Town, Ohio. She was a member of the Summitville Wesleyan Methodist church. Tentative services have been set for Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Wesleyan Methodist church with the Rev.

Edwin Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Vinson Memorial cemetery. Friends will be received after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Ewing funeral home. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs.

Surviving with the widow are one son, James and one daughter, Janice both at home; one brother, Morris, route one Greentown; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Mitchell, Windfall and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Friends church in Phlox at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev.

Chester Mitchell and Rev. Jessie Horner will officiate. Burial will be in the Phlox cemetery. Friends may call at the Mitchell funeral home after 7 p.m. this evening and one hour previous to the services Thursday at the church.

Alex Native Dies Monday At His Home ALEXANDRIA A native and lifelong resident of the Alexandria community, Syvestal R. Etchison, 53, died Monday afternoon at his home, 117 East Sixth street, after an extended illness. A retired employe of Guide Lamp in Anderson, he was born July 9, 1916 and had served during World War Two. He married Barbara Balser in 1942.

Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Judy Swisher of Alexandria and Mrs. Peggy Cochran of Marion; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Etchison of Silver Lake; a sister, Mrs.

Virginia Martin of Alexandria and three grandchildren. Final rites will be conducted Wednesday at the Karl M. Kyle funeral homewith the Rev. James Powell officiating. Time will be 1:30 p.m.

Burial will be made in Park View cemetery. Friends will be received at the mortuary after 2 p.m. today. Tax Statements Readied In Tipton County TIPTON Tipton county residents can expect to receive their real estate and personal property tax statements the latter part of the week, according to Paul Jones, Tipton county treasurer. Tax bills will be mailed Wednesday and Thursday.

Deadline for the Spring installment will be June 8. Payment may be made by mail at the county clerk's office or at the Hobbs, Windfall, Kempton or Sharpsville branches of the Union State Bank. Alex Man Granted Continuation ALEXANDRIA An Alexandria man was granted a continuation of a charge of jailbreaking in Madison county circuit court after he requested an additional week to seek counsel. Kenneth Kettery, 19, Alexandria, is one of six men charged with breaking out of the Madison county jail, April 12. Five of the six have been taken into custody with the sixth, Robert D.
