About 63 members of the local Po cahontas accompanied the degree team to Alexandria last evening and following the initiation were enter tained at an elaborate banquet serv ed by the Alexandria lods-e. Thd hall was crowded during the evening and they all report an excellent even ing.

The Alexandria lodge is a large one and together with the Elwood visitors the meeting was one of the largest of this nature ever held in that city. Rural Embroidery Club. The Rural Embroidery club metres- terday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Orb Wann 3 miles north of. the city and with a large number of the members -in attendance the meeting was one-of the most enjoyable affairs of the month.

The afternoon was spent in fanry work and conversation until a late hour when a delicious luncheon was served. The club' will meet again in two weeks. Cousant Club. The Cousant club met yesterday fternoon with Mrs. Harry Gregg on Smith I) street in a very-pleasant meeting The usual club routine was observed with a dalntyitiucheon serv ed by the "hostess.

The club will meet next, week' at the home-of Mrs. Will Evans. Dorcas Club. The Dorcas was entertained yesterday afternoon at the home of Mrs. W.

Sewing Club. 'Mavme White entertained a few girl friends last evening at a sowing club at tier home on North llth street. The evening was a very enjoyable one spent in fancy work and conversation.
